I live in the Beautiful County of Meath, surrounded by many ancient ruins and heritage sites. On our first Sun-filled Saturday of Summer 2018 I took a drive out to Bective Abbey which is a beautiful Cistercian Abbey on the Banks of the River Boyne, About 7km outside of Trim.Below is a collection of pictures taken that day. After visiting Bective Abbey I took a stroll around Trim Castle and down by the River Boyne out towards Newtown Abbey Church. Along the river walk sheep roam freely and provide great photography subjects.
