Recently I turned 30, and my first grown up decision was of course to go to Dublin Zoo! It was a glorious day and we were blessed with clear blue skies. I absolutely love penguins, some would call it a slight obsession!So there was definitely plenty of time spent around their enclosure. The animals sure do provide some great photo opportunities, the red lemurs were very amusing even in their lazy state, they were stretched baking in the sun, then 2 of them proceeded to give each other what looked like a dental exam. One set of pictures which I am so happy to have is of the flamingos, I’ve photographed them in the past, however always struggled to capture their true colour. I absolutely love the mirror reflections of the flamingos against the water. Check out the gallery below for some of the images captured that day.
