With the recent heatwave Ireland has been enjoying, it has provided some fantastic sunsets. Im part of a local photography club; Tullamore camera club, and we decided to head to a local spot, the Bloomfield House Hotel just outside of Mullingar, Co.Westmeath. The hotel is situated on the shores of Lough Ennel and has a fabulous walkway down to the lakeshore with a jetty out to the lake. We spent a good few hours capturing the sun going down and were very lucky 2 stand up paddle boarders arrived to head out to the water to capture the sunset themselves, they provided us with an subject against the sunset. I also recently purchased a lensball. After been inundated with advertisements every time i went online, my interest was piqued and i decided to purchase. I have to say I’m delighted with the results, its gives a very different view on your picture and adds a more artistic feel to the photo, looking forward to playing around a bit more with it.
